Store Offers Complete Range of Auto and Transmission Repair, Driver Safety Services.

Midlothian, IL (August 6, 2018) – Moran Family of Brands, one of the nation’s leading franchises of general automotive repair, transmission repair and driver safety products, announced its newest franchise location with a multi-branded Mr. Transmission/Milex and Alta Mere/SmartView store in Tampa Bay, FL.

The multi-branded franchise opened in early June and operates in a 4,000 square foot facility located at 3810 W. Linebaugh Avenue in Tampa Bay. A grand opening is planned for a later date. The store is the first in the country to incorporate each of Moran’s four brands – Mr. Transmission, Milex Complete Auto Care, Alta Mere The Automotive Outfitters and SmartView Window Solutions.

Mr. Transmission/Milex will offer customers in the area a comprehensive selection of automotive repair and maintenance services.  Mr. Transmission specializes in repair and installation of a vehicle’s transmission systems and drivetrain components.  Milex provides customers with preventative maintenance services such as oil changes, brake repair, and radiator and cooling systems and engine repair along with a full range of diagnostic services.

Alta Mere offers a complete selection of aftermarket high tech automotive accessories and driver safety products.  It provides premium automotive features such as security and radar detection systems, remote starters and keyless entry, and hands-free blue tooth phone systems.  They also specialize in exterior services such as custom, state-of-the-art window tinting and paint protection applications.

The SmartView division of the company will be able to provide window tinting solutions to residential and commercial customers in the area.  SmartView’s window film gives customers substantial economic, environmental and safety benefits such as heat deflection and UV and shatter guard protection.  Reflective film can block as much as 83 percent of the sun’s heat, and dramatically lower air conditioning costs.

The new franchise is co-owned by Mario Gonzalez and Sebastian Pacheco. The business partners moved to Tampa Bay in December from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Gonzalez owned an auto repair store in Argentina and Pacheco spent 15 years working in advertising for a local television station.  The two met five years ago and shared a mutual love of working on cars and a desire to own a business in the United States. After doing extensive research, they determined Tampa Bay was the perfect location for a franchise offering a wide range of automotive services.

“We want to provide residents in the Tampa Bay area with a one-stop shop that can meet all of their car care needs,” said Sebastian Pacheco. “We can handle any kind of auto repair service while also giving our customers some additional options if they want to enhance the appearance or safety of their vehicle.”

The Mr. Transmission/Milex/Alta Mere/SmartView store is Moran Family of Brands’ ninth franchise in Florida and the second in the Tampa-St. Petersburg area. There is also Mr. Transmission/Milex franchise in Holiday, FL.

“We think Tampa Bay is a great market for our newest location and we are excited to incorporate all four of our brands under one roof,” said Peter Baldine, President of Moran Family of Brands. “I’ve been very impressed with the backgrounds of Mario and Sebastian and their vision of coming to this country from Argentina and owning a business. They have a tremendous personal story and I think they will offer a valuable resource to residents in the Tampa Bay area.”
